Dr Satheesh Ramasamy
Director and Chair
Satheesh joined Norden House Surgery in 2004 as a full time GP partner after completing his training in North Yorkshire. He plays a lead role in the practice in respiratory disorders, prescribing, information technology and care homes. Satheesh has worked on the care home board & Northern Locality outpatient project for the Aylesbury Vale CCG.
Satheesh spends his free time between family, Kollywood and technical analysis.
Dr George Gavriel
George is the Executive Partner at The Swan Practice having joined in 2015 after four years as a GP Partner at Meadowcroft Surgery where he was the Finance Lead. His particular interests are in Diabetes, Family Planning and Medical Education. George is GP Trainer for The Swan Practice and also works for Health Education England as GP ARCP Deputy Chair. He works one day each week for the University of Buckingham Medical School as a Senior Clinical Lecturer and Lead for their Narrative Medicine Course.
George worked for the RCGP until May 2017 on their Collaborative Care and Support Planning Project which included writing the new curriculum module on ‘Caring for people with long term conditions and cancer’. He has published papers in the ‘British Journal of General Practice’ and ‘Education for Primary Care’ on topics including extending GP training and improving learner engagement. He has served as Honorary Treasurer for Thames Valley RCGP Faculty and was awarded Fellowship of the Royal College of General Practitioners in 2017.
In his spare time George enjoys spending time with his young family and he is a member of Buckingham and Stowe running club. He ran and completed the 2018 London Marathon.
Dr Chris Davies
Chris Davies joined Wing Surgery as a full time partner in 2010, having spent 10 years as a partner in Chesham. His GP training was in North West London after qualifying from Guy's and St Thomas's. He is the practice prescribing lead and has interests in diabetes, cardiology and palliative medicine and is developing an interest in clinical research.
Dr Davies's BSc is in Pharmacology and he has presented a poster and published in the Journal of Physiology.
In his spare time he likes tinkering with old cars, sailing, walking and spending time with his family.
Dr Sara Ronaghy
Sara has been a GP partner at Whitchurch Surgery since July 2014, having worked there for the past 10 years as a locum and then a salaried GP. Her interests lie in Paediatrics, Family Planning, Women’s Health, including menopause. She is the hypertension lead at the practice.
Sara has a Master’s in Public Health. She was a research assistant at the Naval Health Research Centre in San Diego, California. She has presented posters at American College of Sports Medicine and published papers in American Journal of Epidemiology.
Sara is also fluent in Farsi. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling the globe.
Debbie consults regarding strategy and direction and manages the administration side, she is also the Business Development Manager at The Swan Practice. Debbie has over 30 years experience in the health care field following service in the RAF, pharmaceutical consultancy work and the NHS.
Debbie has worked in various roles within health in both clinical and administrative fields. She has experience in commissioning and enjoys working in a primary care setting.
Debbie has two grown up children and enjoys travel and live music whenever she can.
